There is no happiness, only conformity. People think they are happy when they are keeping up with the trends of life.

Society is designed a particular way, and when you conform to the expectations placed on you by that system, it works smoothly. Generally, living up to people's expectations of you results in better treatment. So when you find happiness in a way that people don't expect, it's met with jealousy and confusion, both of which result in others trying to tear you down (crab bucket mentality). That's why the things that make you the happiest must be kept a secret, shared only with those you truly love and trust; and behaving in stereotypical ways to superficially meet expectations is only to receive better treatment from strangers and people you don't trust as much.

Society is an hallucination. I guess you will never share your happiness with anyone then, because love isn't real and nobody can be trusted in a world without justice.
