I didn't have a particular book, but growing up, because it was in the culture and media already, I thought that we should have had a bible, but now I realise that I prefer to not have had one. I think a bigger influence was a book I had about dinosaurs, which was interesting with 3-D pictures in it, and it was non-fiction so it might have influenced me to think more, rather than just accept what I get told in school or anywhere else. In this book, it defined "dinosaur" as "terrible lizard", but then years later I found out that "dinosaur" in fact does not mean "terrible lizard". Now checking again, according to sources it actually does mean that. Needless to say, skipping a few steps, it helped to make me think and I enjoy a conspiracy every now and then, including some conspiracies which might just be too silly.
