Video footage and photos of a Toronto-area high school teacher are blowing up online the past few days, sparking a debate about what educators should and shouldn't wear to work. The teacher is reported to be transgender, having previously taught at the school with a male name and manner of dress.

On Twitter, some speculated that this behaviour might stem from a fetish, while others believe it could be a scheme to get fired, then sue the school based on discrimination laws to take a large sum of money.
However, the school board has decided not to take action, releasing the following email statement in response to the complaints from students' parents:
I was tempted to say: "At least put a bra over it so the fake nipples don't poke through!" But then I thought they might not sell bras in that size, and more importantly, why not just take the stupid thing off at that point?
Someone pointed out that similar prosthetics in webshops are said to weigh 35kg; I was reminded of the Turtle Hermit from Dragon Ball, who wears a turtle shell on his back to weigh himself down and train his strength and endurance.
When I mentioned it to an acquaintance from Canada, he said that if something like that is fine, then he should just attend university naked. I jokingly agreed: "What better way to express your gender than to show your genitals?"
Personally, I think these proportions are grotesque and disturbing, and inappropriate for any public context, let alone at a school.
Thoughts and opinions?
